The Back to School Challenge is on again for 2020
This year Border Trust aims to raise $15,000 for the Back to School program! These funds will then be matched by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR)
The Back to School program provides vouchers to students in-need.
These vouchers can be used for important school items including school bags, shoes, text books, school uniforms.
We have from September – November to raise these funds!!

All funds raised stay 100% local and go directly to the purchase of vouchers for schools to distribute to their students.
Feedback from Schools:
- There was an overwhelming sense that someone cares about our families in a very real and practical way.
- The vouchers helped purchase shoes and extra uniform items, lunch boxes, pencils and school bags and things that make a real difference to our child fitting into the school community.
- The smiles on the parents faces and even the tears that some parents have shed when given their voucher was such a blessing to watch.
- This generosity will never be forgotten.
