ACE Radio – 2AY & EDGE FM Grant Program with Handbury Foundation

ACE Radio – 2AY & EDGE FM with philanthropic partner, Handbury Foundation awarded grants of $34,792 to local community organisations in 2023. 

 The successful recipients of the 2023 Grant Program are:

Albury Wodonga Regional Foodshare awarded $10,000 for Feed Our Kids – Breakfast Club

Autism Spectrum Australia – Aspect Riverina School awarded $5,000 for Reading and literacy resources

Careflight Limited awarded $3,552 for Trauma Care Training for Wodonga First Responders

Lifeline Albury Wodonga awarded $5,000 for Crisis Supporter Workplace Training.

Petaurus Education Group Inc Awarded $4,800 for Sisters who SHINE Project: Empowering the Border’s future superstars.

Terry Floyd Foundation awarded $7,440 for School Cyber Safety Program.
We recently visited Wahgunyah Primary School with Daryl from the Terry Floyd Foundation to see the Cyber Safety Program in action.

Awarded at The Big GIVE…  the recipients of Handbury Foundation, ACE Radio 2AY & Edge FM grant program for 2023 were presented with their grants by 2AY General Manager, Andrew Harrison and 2AY presenter, Matt Griffith.

With the establishment of their  named sub fund, ACE Radio 2AY & Edge FM with philanthropic partner, Handbury Foundation, have an established community partnership with Border Trust, working together to make a positive impact on the local Albury Wodonga community.

Since 2017, 2AY’s annual Community Grant Program has distributed $153,274 to support community identified projects across the region.

Border Trust loves working with organisations who are so genuinely committed to their community, taking an active interest in local issues and needs.  By combining our resources and skills, we work together through the entire grant process from application to acquittal.  It is a hands-on experience which connects donors to recipients in the most meaningful way.
