Collective giving for a stronger Border region

Border Trust is your local Community Foundation, created by locals, for locals.

Since 2004, we’ve helped generous people, families and businesses give back to the Albury Wodonga and Border region, granting more than $5 million to over 450 projects that make our community stronger, safer and more connected. Every gift, big or small, stays right here at home, supporting the causes that matter most to our region.

September is Local Giving Month

This September, businesses, workplaces, schools, community groups and individuals across the Border region are coming together to support the place we all call home.

A region-wide celebration of generosity that will help build lasting support for our community today, tomorrow and forever.

Every dollar raised helps grow Border Trust’s Community Impact Fund ensuring money raised here stays here, supporting local charities, local people and local communities today, tomorrow and forever.

Because when local businesses and communities come together, our region becomes stronger.

Local Giving Month Business Luncheon

Friday 4 September | The Albury Club

We’re delighted to welcome Tony Smith, owner of Regent Cinemas Albury, as our special guest at this year’s Business Luncheon.

With Regent Cinemas approaching its 100th anniversary, Tony will share the story of one of our region’s great family businesses and reflect on long-term thinking, community leadership and investing in the place you call home.

Tony and Prue Smith have also been generous supporters of Border Trust over many years, making this a particularly fitting way to kick off Local Giving Month.

Last year’s luncheon sold out, so we recommend booking early.
