In the Upper Murray, distance can be a barrier to healthcare.
For children and families, travelling long distances to access specialist and allied health services can mean appointments are delayed, missed or simply become too difficult to manage.
For older people and people living with illness or disability, access to rehabilitation close to home can make an important difference to independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
We believe where you live should not determine the healthcare you can access.
That is why Corryong Health is asking our community to help us build the services and opportunities our community needs — right here in the Upper Murray.
Your gift can make a local difference
Through our Fundraising Strategy, the Community Health Advisory Group has identified two priorities for community fundraising:
Paediatric Health Services
We want children and families to have greater access to quality paediatric care and support without having to travel long distances from home.
Our fundraising will help us build the foundations for stronger local paediatric services, including:
- paediatric assessment tools and equipment;
- Allied Health clinicians;
- Child-friendly spaces;
- Visiting specialist services; and
- Technology that helps connect local families with specialist care.
Paediatric Allied Health services including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Dietetics, are currently not readily available locally, leaving families facing significant travel to access the support their children need.
Our goal is to raise $50,000–$500,000 to strengthen paediatric healthcare in the Upper Murray.
Community Rehabilitation Model Of Care
We want people in the Upper Murray to have access to rehabilitation that supports independence, wellbeing and participation in community life.
Our fundraising will help develop the facilities and resources needed to deliver a contemporary Community Rehabilitation Model of Care, including:
- Education facilities;
- Audiovisual equipment; and
- Consultation room fittings and fixtures.
Our goal is to raise $75,000–$250,000 to help establish and strengthen community rehabilitation services.

Your gift can be combined with contributions from other community members, businesses, philanthropic organisations and grant programs to turn a shared community vision into practical improvements in local healthcare.

Why give through the Corryong Health Sub Fund?
Corryong Health has established a dedicated Sub-Fund with Border Trust, providing a trusted and appropriately governed way for our community to support our fundraising priorities.
Border Trust manages donations for charitable purposes and provides the governance and administration that enables donors to give with confidence. Donations to the Sub-Fund are tax-deductible.
Funds raised will be directed towards the priorities identified through the Corryong Health Fundraising Strategy, with progress and outcomes reported through our established governance arrangements.
