‘Give Where You Live’

This is the sentiment that Border Trust is working to instil into the hearts and minds of every individual in our local community. If you like the idea of making a difference in your local community and working to build a strong and resilient community for the future, then feel free to contact us to have a chat about how you can become involved.

Give time

Become a volunteer or join one of the Border Trust committees. There are many activities throughout the year that require regular or one off contributions of time – help us plan one of our annual events or special projects or assist us to run events on the day.

Give talent

Everyone has talents! Where do yours lie? Can you help Border Trust in some aspect of our daily business operations or  annual events? We are a volunteer organisation that relies heavily on the in-kind support of our local businesses.

Raise money

Fundraising is a cornerstone of our activities annually. Funds are constantly needed so we can deliver our community grants programs and donations are tax deductible. You can run your own event or you can bring a group together to participate in one of our annual fundraising events.

Local businesses supporting the Border Trust

Local businesses really are the cornerstone of our local community.

That’s why Border Trust is building a network of like-minded businesses to support local giving and the Border’s local community foundation.

The concept is simple and how you raise funds is really up to you.

It could be through well-placed collection tin, creating a Local Giving Month event (or attending one of ours), donating proceeds from a workplace fundraiser or simply committing to supporting your community through a one-off donation – it all adds up.

Tell us your idea and your business, school or club’s participation by contacting us at mail@bordertrust.org.au.
