How Give500 Works
Local community members, families, groups and businesses are invited to join Give500 by donating $500 to the Give500 program.
- Each $500 donation is combined to form a grant pool. The more donations, the bigger the funding pot!
- For every $500 donation, donors receive one vote to help decide which local project receives funding at our annual Pitch Night (held in November).
- Donations are tax deductible and open from mid-November to June 30 each year.
Where does your donation go?
- 60% funds impactful community projects.
- 40% builds the Give500 Sub-Fund, ensuring long-term support for local causes.
One donation, one vote, big impact. Be part of Give500 today!
Choosing the Winning Give500 Project
As a Give500 donor, you’re invited to our Pitch Night, where the community comes together to decide which project receives the major grant.
- Watch a short video and hear a live pitch from each of the three finalists.
- Cast your vote—one $500 donation = one vote—for the project you believe will make the biggest impact.
- The winner receives the largest grant, with smaller grants awarded to the two runners-up.
Your vote helps shape the future of our community.
Join us and be part of the decision!
