Community Grants, News, Recipients

At Wodonga Congolese Cultural School, local generosity has helped provide laptops and learning resources for children from the Albury–Wodonga African community.
Meeting every second Saturday, the school brings young people together through language, storytelling, music and shared learning led by community volunteers. For students navigating mainstream schooling during the week, these sessions offer something deeply grounding — a space to feel proud of who they are and where they come from.

The new resources have opened opportunities for independent learning and discovery, strengthening confidence in the classroom and connections at home.
This is local impact that extends beyond the school room, into families and future generations.
