After 20 years, Glenys Atkins is retiring from Border Trust.

Announcements, News
After two decades of dedication, we are celebrating the remarkable contribution of Glenys Atkins, who is retiring from Border Trust.
Glenys has been part of the Border Trust story since its very beginning in 2005. Over the years she has taken on many roles, from her time as Executive Officer through to her most recent role as Community Engagement & Impact, while always bringing warmth, energy and an unwavering commitment to community.

Reflecting on her time with us, Glenys says: “How can I possibly capture what Border Trust has meant to me over these past 20 years? For me, it’s been more than a workplace – it’s been my purpose, my community and my people. It’s where my heart is and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

Known to so many of our donors, recipients and community, Glenys’s generosity and genuine care have left a lasting impression. She has been at the heart of Border Trust’s work, helping to grow local giving and ensuring it makes the greatest impact where it’s needed most.

While we are truly sad to see Glenys leave, we are excited for her as she steps into this next chapter. On behalf of the Board, team, donors and community – thank you, Glenys, for everything you’ve given to Border Trust and to our region.

Please join us on October 1st at La Maison Albury to celebrate Glenys, her incredible impact at Border Trust and the next chapter ahead. RSVP Here.
