Virginia Boyd, Director

Virginia has been a Director of Border Trust since December 2018 and took up the position of Deputy Chair in November 2019.

Virginia is the Executive Director of People, Workforce & Support with Albury Wodonga Health,having worked there for the past four years. Virginia has experience working in education, delivering training in business management and human resource management, as well as working in her own organisational development consultancy business, executive recruitment and the Dairy Industry.

She is currently a commissioner with AFL North East Border Commission, continuing her interest in AFL.

She has always been involved in her local communities and believes that being a member of Border Trust is a great way to use her skills to put something back into the Community. “I saw the results that the Border Trust was providing to the community and wanted to be involved to assist the Board to continue to deliver these results, as I am passionate about the community I live in and giving back”

A Community Foundation is an independent philanthropic organisation working in a specific geographic area which, over time, builds up a collection of endowed funds from many donors in the community. It provides services to the community and its donors, makes grants and undertakes community leadership and partnership activities to address a wide variety of needs in its service area.”
