Beth Sainty-Gale, Secretary

Beth joined the Border Trust Board in November 2019.

She currently works at Albury Wodonga Health in Grants and Fundraising, and has a background in Government relations and Health policy. Originally from  Griffith, Beth moved with her family to Albury from Wollongong in 2017, where she worked as a Policy Advisor for the Vice Chancellors at the University of Wollongong.

Prior to that she lived in Canberra for several years working in health policy for federal and state government.

Beth joined the Border Trust because she is passionate about supporting people in rural and regional areas being empowered to drive change in their own communities.

A Community Foundation is an independent philanthropic organisation working in a specific geographic area which, over time, builds up a collection of endowed funds from many donors in the community. It provides services to the community and its donors, makes grants and undertakes community leadership and partnership activities to address a wide variety of needs in its service area.”
