Border Trust and the Back To Reality Foundation are pleased to announce the "Back To Reality Foundation" Grant Reciptients for 2008. Congratulations to successsful recipients.
Recipients of the "Back To Reality Foundation" Grant Round 2008
Community AccessAbility Inc. (Wodonga) - Volunteer Friends Program granted $4,000 for Sports Clinics for Youth with Disabilities.
Westside Community Centre (Albury) granted $4,500 for Homework Centre.
Police Citizens Youth Club (Albury) granted $5,000 for Archery Program.
Upper Hume Community Health Service granted $5,000 for Homework Club for "At Risk" Youth.
The Back to Reality Foundation (BTR) aims to promote and foster programs and ideas targeting and supporting the youth of Albury Wodonga and the surrounding regions.
Funding is available for projects which improve the life of young people in Albury Wodonga and the surrounding region. Grant rounds are held annually.
Border Trust is working with BTR to conduct and distribute their annual Grant distribution.
In 2007 four $5,000 grants were distributed.
Programs that seek to improve the quality of life for young people in this region should apply to Border Trust via the grant application procedures outlined on this web site.
AIMS OF BACK TO REALITY
· To promote a catalyst for the generation of programs for youth
· To build the capacity to young people to generate and support their own programs
· To support multiplier opportunities
· To promote social responsibility in our young people
· To develop partnerships and build relationships with agencies, organizations and individuals who seek to enhance outcomes for our young people
Broadly, the Back to Reality Foundation will respond to the needs of the local youth of our community and Region by making grants to eligible organisations for innovative undertakings which :
· Seek to improve the quality of life of the young people of this region
· Adhere to the mission and aims of the foundation
